The Breadear project began in 2015

Documenting the craft of artisan bakers who are challenging industrially made bread by fusing together contemporary food know-how with a new tradition of the crafted loaf.

Bee documents by engaging with a range of experts from bakers to academics to bread enthusiasts to non-enthusiasts. She writes, draws, presents at conferences, runs bread tours, leads bread workshops and manages community engagement projects.
